Type has personality too. I took a test online that said "What Type Are You?" Of course it's not your dating type but actual typography hehe. The mysterious online gentleman asked a series of questions and based on your answers you would be assigned a font. My answers were emotional, assertive, progressive, and disciplined. I was then assigned this font.
This matches my personality because I enjoy minimalistic things. And this font is very minimal and straightforward (assertive). It is very interesting and pleasing to look at (emotional). And the font has straight lines throughout (progressive). And the font does not have any unbalanced aspect to it (disciplined). I also learned the anatomy of fonts. Knowing the anatomy is important for better understanding a font. Such as my font that I was assigned. The eyes and bowls are square and there are very few ascenders and descenders. I chose to do my name in Times New Roman because I could not find my font for free online and TNR demonstrates the anatomy of type better.
